We build worlds in motion.

An independent animation studio creating characters, films, visual identities and strange new worlds.

02 Selected worlds / Station 01

Playful
grime

Outsider energy, skate-park attitude, imperfect on purpose. Characters built from patches, stitches and bad decisions that turned out right.

Inner
landscapes

Feeling drawn as architecture. Memory, growth and the rooms people keep locked — opened one frame at a time.

What we
make

Four disciplines. One production language.

Character turnaround sheet: an angular figure in a patched jacket drawn front, three-quarter and profile, with construction circles, silhouette studies and a row of colour swatches.
01 / Design sheet

Characters

Original personalities built to carry a story — designed as systems, not as one nice drawing.

Storyboard beat page: six ruled panels following a figure down a night street, through a doorway, up a stairway, a fall, a reaching hand, and a silhouette stepping into light.
02 / Beat board

Stories

From first signal to locked board — structure, tone, and the beat the whole thing turns on.

Animation breakdown: one figure in eight sequential poses across a jump arc, with a dotted motion path, speed lines and a timing rule beneath.
03 / Breakdown

Animation

Motion with weight and timing. Frame-by-frame, mixed media, and whatever the film actually needs.

World bible plate: a taped-down schematic map of an invented place — a block city, a stairway range, a crater lake, a bridge and a tower joined by a lavender route line with orange station markers.
04 / World plate

Worlds

Rules, places and visual language — the bible a production can actually be built on.

04

Process

Three stops between a signal and a film.

A desk seen from above, covered in loose figure studies, torn scraps and a pen, with one sheet pushed to the centre carrying a single orange marker.
Stop 01

Signal

A thing that will not go away. We draw at it until it has a shape, a tone and a reason to exist.

A wall of pinned artwork cards in a grid, some crooked, joined by taut lavender thread running between orange pin heads.
Stop 02

Construction

Design, board, palette, rules. Everything goes on the wall so the weak parts have nowhere to hide.

A strip of film frames laid diagonally across cream paper, each holding one pose of a figure mid-stride, with a dotted motion arc and a timing rule beneath.
Stop 03

Motion

Timing, weight, texture, sound. The part where a stack of drawings turns into something with a pulse.

05

Selected work

GGGG is an independent animation studio. We take on films, title sequences, music visuals, identities and worlds — and we make them the way the work demands, not the way the pipeline prefers.
